Special Events held in Monte Vista
Stampede- held annually the last week in July. Stampede includes a carnival, parade through Monte Vista, the oldest rodeo in Colorado, country dancing, and many other fun and exciting activies.
Crane Festival- held in March, come watch the beautiful cranes migrating through the San Luis Valley.
Annual Shriners Circus- held annually during the summer.
Harvest Festival- held in September.
San Luis Valley 4-H Fair- come see the hard work of students around the Valley who participated in 4-H activies.
